I minored in Fine Art at a university in California, graduating in 1991. I started my own wholesale dried flower arrangement business and ran that for two years, leaving that industry to focus on more artistic and creative art. Most recently, I designed a line of Scrabble-tile jewelry and am now creating original designs of Steiff-inspired pom-pom figurine animals.
I am a mother of three wonderful children (3, 10 and 14), and married to my husband Dan, who runs his own business.

On a personal note, I'm hoping to get back on track w/my life on Monday. Kid stuff, house stuff, work stuff, you name it, I'm trying to avoid it!!! LOL Halloween was fun and of course my children woke up and ate candy for breakfast. I'm not complaining saved me a lot of time making just coffee!
Have I mentioned that I am now the proud owner of a new Lexus? (Bet you thought I was going to say I brought home another rescue dog:) Yep, I worried all night that my Lexus would be egged or have a window broken. Gotta hand it to the kids today, not one shred of toilet paper was seen☺
Now that I have become an adult and have a decent toy to drive around town in, I have decided to let go of at least some of my Tara time and possibly start volunteering in person. Usually I just foster, pet sit,walk, rescue, etc. around my home. I will hopefully be taking a day off weekly to become one w/the critters elsewhere. I'm sick of cats dragging their litter across my
carpet:( Okay, so the carpet has dog pee on it too, sorry cats!
