I'm an independent fine artist and American expat wife living on the Wales/England borders. Having attended a school for the arts from ages 9-18, painting has always been central in my life. Living in a different country has changed the way I view the world; I'm astounded by the beauty around me and hope to capture a glimpse of this on canvas.
Last month, I had two exhibitions, a solo show at the Sparc Centre Gallery in Bishops Castle, England, and took part in a group exhibition with the Castle Artists, also in Bishops Castle. I'm included in another exhibition in November 2009. I love commissions and this is the bulk of the paintings I create.

I can totally relate to that post! I am German expat living in the USA. Living in a foreign country definitely changes the way to look at the world, life, and art!
