My name is Jen Schroll, I'm 33 years old happily married to my husband, Rusty, with whom I will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary at the end of October. I'm also a doggy-mom to Blaster, our 4-year old Bluetick Coonhound we adopted in April 2008. For me, card making came about first as a necessity. When Rusty and I were planning our wedding, I was "that bride" who didn't like any stationery I saw! I had a background in the arts and thought "Why not make my own"? I headed to the nearest craft store, bought a few supplies and got to work! I made everything for our wedding - Save the Dates, invites, programs, escort cards, table numbers, and even the thank you cards. After the wedding, I never stopped making cards. I sold a few cards online here and there and spent the next 5 months building up a stock. In April, I left my job to make cards full time. In late May 2009, I opened up shop on Etsy!
