I'm Lily, married, share my space with four cats, and am mom to two wonderful teenaged girls (no, I didn't make up the wonderful part). I'm fairly certain I was an explorer at some point in my past and when I'm not making things, taking pictures, or watching football or baseball, I'm out looking for new places. Why? Because.
Steampunk appeals to me mostly in the literary sense. Ever since I first learned to read I've loved alternate or embellished history. Victorian ladies with ray guns were my kind of thing. That I can take that love, mix in some old bits and pieces that would otherwise be discarded, and make something pretty rocks my socks. I enjoy digging through the scrap heap in my father-in-law's workshop and finding new elements to breathe new life into.
