Hi, my name is Cheryl and I love to make things! I especially love sewing and needlecrafts and have more recently become interested in felting, in particular knitted felting. I have very little experience knitting, so I use eco-friendly recycled wool sweaters and other clothing, mostly thrift shop and yard sale finds, for my felted creations. I also love to use other vintage, recycled and repurposed materials in my craftwork. In the felting (or fulling) process, the wool sweaters are shrunk with heat, water and agitation to create soft and cozy, thick and durable fabric. The felted sweater is then cut apart and sewn into a new, one of a kind, handbag, accessory or home accent.
